It’s generally unwise to take risks like getting out of an SRV high up on a mountainside when you’re dozens of light years from the carrier and holding lots of exploration data you haven’t turned in yet. Commanders like me have all done things like this. Maybe we are tired, we think oh I’ll just get this one sample, it’ll be fine. It did turn out to be fine, but when I turned the camera around to notice hey, I can see my ship way way down there I realized I was just a quick hop and jet pack boost from a deadly impact. This was taken on Ausain DK-I d9-2 6.
The Cobalteum Rhizome Pod didn’t defy scanning this week, thank goodness. I’m thinking the other instances of it from last week had corrupt underlying data server-side as I don’t believe a patch landed that could have fixed it on the client software side. This item was found near Bloa Aick OJ-I D9-1 A.
One of the rarer biologicals in my travels are the clypeus plants. Their outer shells are usually shiny with an almost metallic hue which easily reflects the SRV headlights.
Week 11 of the expedition ran from March 23rd through the 29th.
